About Heather

I am an intuitive and prophetic artist, Freedom Architect, and founder of Untethered Life.
My mission is to create tangible experiences of Divine Love—inviting people to encounter God, awaken to Divine Presence, remember more fully who you are, and live with greater freedom, wholeness, and conscious partnership with the Divine.
Whether I am painting, shaping clay, writing, teaching, or facilitating, I create through committed listening and partnership with Holy Spirit.
A Lifelong Inquiry Into Freedom

For most of my life, I have been asking some version of the same question:
What actually creates freedom?
That question has led me through decades of lived experimentation and integration—prayer, inner-healing work, Conscious Language, Human Design, teaching, facilitation, prophetic and intuitive art, and eventually clay.
My Own Freedom Had to Become Real

For much of my life, I believed safety lived somewhere inside getting things right.
I wanted to believe the right things, make the right choices, raise my children the right way, and somehow avoid being wrong.
My study with Robert Tennyson Stevens and Conscious Language profoundly disrupted that pattern. I began moving away from continually asking, What is the right thing? or "Is this the wrong thing?" and instead began asking:
What am I feeling? What am I thinking? What story am I creating? What do I know now?
This shift changed the way I love, the way I relate to my family, and the way I understand responsibility and choice.
I discovered that freedom is not the absence of mistakes.
Freedom is the willingness and courage to live my life fully alive.

Freedom in Creativity

I discovered prophetic art in 2002 and gradually gave myself permission to create without waiting until I believed my work was good enough.
Painting became another way of listening and responding to God.
When I returned to clay in 2022 after more than forty years, something opened again.
Spirit breathed me deep. It was as if I had been holding my breath and suddenly could fully breathe again.
As painting and clay became increasingly woven into my life, I began to recognize that my creative work was not separate from my freedom work. It was another expression of it.
I now know my art acts as a Divine Interface — a meeting place where the visible and unseen intersect.
Becoming Untethered
Untethered Life grew from my own invitation into deeper freedom.
During a SOZO session, I saw myself as a massive ocean liner tethered to the shoreline. I understood that what had been intended to keep me safe was also keeping me from the open water I was created to explore.
Then I saw the rope cut.
In 2015, my husband and I gave our unfolding journey a name: Untethered Life.
We have been living the experiment ever since.
Living It in Real Life
All of this has unfolded in real time, not in a laboratory.
My life has included faith and doubt, marriage (30+ years) and parenting (6 children!), creativity and business, clarity and uncertainty.
Teaching freedom as a formula does not interest me.
I live it, breathe it, and work it out moment to moment—imperfectly, consciously, creatively, and in collaboration with God-in-me.
And I continually ask:
Who can I help?

One Calling, Many Expressions
Untethered Life is now the home for the different expressions of that calling.
Sometimes freedom unfolds through a conversation, a question, a new choice, or words that help us see differently.
Sometimes it comes through color, image, clay, texture, beauty, or an object held in our hands.
I invite you to explore whichever expression speaks to you today.
