Meet Bethany Dwyer - Joy Hostess, keeper of the bees, mother to 4, lifelong animal lover, horse enthusiast, chicken tender, education seeker, truth speaker, spiritual health coach, fitness and nutrition geek, oily healer, creative spark.
With 22 years in Equine Dentistry and 14 years in Healing Arts, I love helping both humans and animals with their upgrades! After attaining my BS in Interdisciplinary Agriculture and my MS in Biomedical Science, in 2012 I became the 26th Dental Provider to be licensed by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
I am also certified in Raindrop for working with humans since 2014 and board certified to teach and facilitate animals since 2018. In 2020 I found the missing piece to my healing work and joined the inaugural Mastery System Big Kahuna program which I now incorporate into my Raindrop Sessions.
It is MY joy to prepare space for YOUR infinite expansion and fruition of miracles. I love for my attention to detail to be felt as you arrive to take a seat at the table that has been prepared for YOU. My heart dances as you explore the wonder of God’s beauty and security in this space and remember the love you feel for your inner child and give her permission to SHINE.

Our transformative journey takes place at the beautiful The Crooked Mile in Bellville, TX, a High-Vibe Sanctuary thoughtfully prepared by our gracious Joy hospitality queen, Bethany Dwyer. Bethany has nurtured the perfect setting for our gathering of 20 extraordinary women.
Bethany’s vision for The Crooked Mile:
“Since 2016, it has been my joy to bring into creation a sacred space for you to disconnect from the world and remember who you are, to embrace your miracles as they occur, for you to feel the empowering love of others, for you to truly know the state of wellbeing, and to build a dwelling where you are bathed in light and surrounded by walls that decree wise words and scripture. Come as you are, leave as you choose to be.
“‘The house that gives you a hug’ and her 17 acres, welcomes your desire to get cozy in the reading nook, view nature from every window in every room, fellowship with nourishing food in the kitchen, sit on the porch and watch the fog lift with the rise of the sun and roosters crowing, collect eggs from the chicken ladies for breakfast, walk a crooked mile or two, play a friendly game of tetherball, put your hands in the garden and nurture something to bloom, suit up and watch the bees come and go in the bee sanctuary, see your reflection in some amazing animal souls, sit by the pond and cast a line, meditate during the most gorgeous sunsets, and sit by a roaring fire listening to crickets and frogs under a wonderous blanket of stars.
Your Accommodations: we offer semi-private rooms with shared bathroom space or the option of an outdoor camping experience.
Where You Rest Your Head: Sink into the comfort of Belgian flax and organic cotton bed linens, ensuring that your nights are as rejuvenating as your days of exploration.
Thoughtful Amenities: Bath linens and essential toiletries are provided during your stay at The Crooked Mile.
Tasty Food: Three body and soul nourishing meals will be served daily. We have chosen to plan and prepare organic, farm-to-table meals that will dance on your tastebuds - no beige meals served here! Consciously sourced coffee/tea will be served along with filtered well-water and “chewblet” ice (a.k.a. “the good ice”, “nugget ice”, and “Sonic ice”). Snacks for grazing will be available throughout the day. **** please let us know in advance any dietary requirements you may have ****
Pure and Clean: We use only Thieves cleaning products on surfaces and linens. During your stay you will find refreshingly filtered well water for bathing and drinking.
Our Pets and Farm Animals: ****This is an animal-friendly facility, AND their presence will remain minimal inside the house during the event, unless you desire to raise your vibration with a purring kitten!****
